$411 is a lot of money for a few fluid changes, but many of those, such as the transmission and Differential, aren&#039;t really necessary until around 100k. &lt;br /&gt;

The Subaru dealership gives us free oil changes for as long as we own our vehicle, but they still send us messages sometimes asking us to go in for a special deal on maintenance. They want something like $150 to change the oil (which is already free), rotate the tires (which I can do myself, or take to discount tire for free) and a general 79 point inspection. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The filters you can definitely do on your own for next to nothing, just order the filters online and spend the five minutes it will take to install them.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The road hazard warranty through Discount Tire is amazing. It covers EVERYTHING, and if you end up using it to replace a tire, you can buy the road hazard warranty for the new tire.&lt;br /&gt;

Right around 40,000 miles, you should try to drive over a lot of screws and nails to take full advantage of that offer.</description>
