Sicky Mikey, No Feely Good

I have been sick for about a week now. I think withdrawing from pop, namely the large amounts of sugar and caffeine, have weakened my immune system. Happens every time actually. You’d think I would have learned a lesson by now.

Today all that is left is a little sniffle. I should be fine by tomorrow. Looks like Crystal is getting laid off at work. It’s a curious situation. They have enough money to buy electron microscopes yet they are letting people go. Sounds silly. Sounds like Enron.

I have a couple potential buyers for my Mustang. We’ll see how that pans out. My sis-in-law wants to take over payments. I think I would rather sell it out right so I don’t have things to worry about.

The time to register for classes is here. I think I will be taking Calculus II, English Composition, and well, not really sure about the third. I am really worried about overloading myself. Perhaps Java I since it can be taken online.

I am looking forward to this weekend. I will be making some BBQ beef ribs or frying some more chicken. It will be nice to see Nate again. It’s been too long.

Henry is growing each week. I am actually glad Crystal will be staying home. Taking care of Henry has always been our goal. I suppose having someone at home to take care of me while I work full time and go to school full time will be nice.

My sister has had this older Honda that has been having constant trouble. She took it to a garage and they quoted her over $3,000 to get everything fixed. Three grand! We talked and from what I understand even the mechanic told her to trade it in for a new one. I concur on that move. It appears to me that the previous owner did some terrible maintenance and short cuts that are back to haunt her. She doesn’t need anything extravagant. A late nineties Japanese or German hatchback should be fine. I feel bad for her. I remember a couple years ago when I was just starting at my previous job: a shitty Chevy Cavalier and an old Mercedes. Wow have things changed.
